MUSIC AT CHRIST

MUSIC IN WORSHIP- Christ Lutheran Church is a liturgical Lutheran congregation.  Not "high" church or overdone, but worship that reverences the Lord by using the historic liturgies and hymnody of the Church.  Such worship links us with the Saints of all time and the "Angels and archangels and all the company of heaven."

Christ Lutheran Church utilizes the new Lutheran Service Book in all worship services.

The Eucharist is celebrated at each Sunday service.  Matins and Vespers are offered as scheduled.

Organ, Piano and other instruments are used as warranted.

Faythe Vollrath, Organist

Brian Mosier, Assistant Organist

CHOIR

Christ Lutheran Church has an adult Choir that assists in leading liturgy and hymnody each week, as well as offering an anthem when they sing. All voices are welcome, and no experience is necessary!

The Choir meets each Wednesday evening at 7:30pm.  During Advent and Lent, the choir meets immediately following Evening Prayer.  Rehearsals are 1 to 1 1/2 hours long.

The Choir Director is Mrs. Barbara Van Scoy

HANDBELL CHOIR

Christ Lutheran Church has an active Handbell Choir that adorns many of our services with their ringing.

If you can't sing but you can count, you belong in this choir!

All ages welcome to participate.

Rehearsals normally are on Saturday mornings at 11am, as scheduled.

The Handbell Choir Director is Mrs. June Ferguson
